Plant breeding, Germplasm and Biotechnology Research facility have been created in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. In the coming years, under its comprehensive expansion program R & D activities would be diversified to strategic agro-climatic regions. Thus, we are increasing the scope of Breeding Research, Multi-location Testing and Biotechnology Research activities. These days R & D activities being conducted on more than 30 crops including Bt-Cotton, Cereals, Vegetables Oil Seeds, Fiber Leguminous and Fruits.
