Planning & executing of all site activities related to the construction/erection /commissioning of a coal based power project & Plant Operation, lead a team of engineers of various disciplines.
Job Description
PLANT HEAD Person must be having Willingness to achieve plant level Erection & Commissioning targets., Workforce Management,. Assist Top Management in strategic decisions, Planning for Project Execution & plant operation strategy.
- To deliver as per schedule
- Establishing operation & efficiency departments
- Preparation of SCPs & SOPs including emergency procedures.
- Spear heading ruthless cost reduction
- Resolving of site specific engineering and operation problems.
- Preparing budget for operation and efficiency department.
- To undertake measures to improve Project completion activities.
- To train and develop subordinates
- To undertake measures to improve quality
- To execute Erection & Commission plan.
- Facilitating change within the Plant Operation department
- Supervising of all Project & Operation activities in the plant
- Timely availability of all Project & Operation resources
Functional Area :- Thermal Power Project & Operations
Education : BE /B.Tech. in Mechanical /Electrical /Thermal Power Plant Engineering
Past Experience :
- Min. of 12-20 years of construction & erection experience in coal based power projects.
- Strong commercial and coordination skills, coupled with decision-making and negotiation skills.
- Leadership, delegation, communication, interfacing and presentation skills. Experience in handling multi-functional management role is mandatory.
- He should have handled at least project of 30 MW & above.
